History

Originally conceived back in the year 2000, Lars Sorhus (the founder of the site) searched for a nice, simple resume sample online using Google, and found there were none. Well, nothing that really resonated with his specific skill-set, industry and taste for how he wanted to represent himself when looking for a job.

This stuck with Lars throughout his career as a software developer and, in 2006, decided to pull apart the web again and see if there was anything out there that again might meet his resume requirements. Still nothing. This prompted him to set up this site and give back to the online community that has helped him launch a successful business, sauceCode Pty Ltd.
